JPD's first Stephen's Green show ran from Dec. 6 - 13, 1948. Before the opening, JPD realized he didn't have enough work to fill the gallery, so he rushed back to his "studio" in the rooms at Trinity College, Dublin and created more paintings. He hurried back to the gallery with these, paint not yet dry, and had them hung. Special thanks to Bill Dunn for adding these rare pieces to the site.
